Dusshera is celebrated in many Hindu nations like Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, and Nepal with great enthusiasm. Bragnam learning also celebrated Dusshera with kids performing various characters so as to make them understand the significance of the festival. Dusshera is also known for marking the victory of Lord Rama over ten-headed devil Ravana, as the name signifies.”Dasha-Hara”, “Dasha” here refers to “das”(ten) headed devil Ravana and “hara” means defeat, it means the defeat of the ten-headed devil.

Although the day also marks the victory of Maa Durga over Mahishasur.Signifying both the events, role plays were done in all schools and centres of Bragnam learning. Kids participated with eagerness and it was observed that kids kept on asking about various characters of Ramayana while practicing for the show. Today cartoon characters are dominating storybooks, television, and plays. Kids are not knowing epics thus marking a threat to social etiquettes in the future.

Bragnam in this way have been trying to instill morale values in kids. Kids played various roles like Sita, Jatayu, Ravana, Ram, Lakshman and performed extremely well. Kids were dressed up in attires of the said characters and did wonderful role plays of the characters. Mr. Nidheesh Saxena, Director Bragnam learning said that it is very important for kids to know thee cultural values else it would be a disaster for society if students start taking cartoons as their ideal characters.
